MK1.5 Tonebender #009

The MK1.5 Tonebender was released by Sola Sound in 1966. This became the predecessor to the Fuzz Face. The tight bottom and aggressive top end make the MK1.5 sound great with both Single Coil and Humbucker pickups.

#009 is driven by a matched set of lower gain CV7007 transistors. I selected these for the excellent sustain, character, and cleanup. Roll back your guitar volume for edgy breakup and glassy tones.

This pedal can be powered by internal battery or external center negative 9V DC power supply. The transistors are PNP and must be powered by ISOLATED POWER SUPPLY ONLY!
