BF-2 "FF" #002

The BF-2 Fuzz is my take on the classic Fuzz Face with modified input voicing, battery bypass switch (red toggle), premium NOS components, and vintage style (iss2) reproduction PCB.

The input voicing is controlled by a toggle switch with two modes - Classic, and Custom.

Classic Mode - Full ripping fuzz. No modifications to the original design.

Custom Mode - Changes the character and amount of fuzz on tap. This opens up the top end, reduces a little bass frequency and compression. Works great with humbucker and higher output pick-ups that can sometimes lose detail and get muddy with fuzz.

Under the hood are a pair of hand selected vintage Soviet era GT404B germanium "BART" transistors. These transistors rip! Loads of thick fuzz that sounds great at low and high fuzz settings. They clean up really nice too.

Each pedal has been carefully biased and all components are tested and measured to meet my specifications.
